Biothane Slip Lead

Slip leads are a wonderful invention for training dogs - particularly for dogs already used to a lead, as it can get them to adjust to walking calmly alongside you without straining. 

The lead glides easily over your dog's head without fuss, creating a collar-like loop kept in place with the safety stoppers. There are no straps or buckles to worry about, just grab your lead and go!

At Talias Tails we make our slip leads with Biothane rope making them waterproof and mudproof, easy to wipe clean and odour-resistant.

Please note that we try to get these to you as soon as possible but as they are a handmade by a small Aberdeenshire business and a custom item, dispatch can take 2-3 weeks.

What is BioThane®?
BioThane® is the brand name of all coated webbing products made by BioThane Coated Webbing Corp. It’s basically a polyester webbing with a TPU or PVC coating that makes it more durable, waterproof, easy to clean and weldable.

Why is BioThane® better than leather?
BioThane® is more durable, cleanable, stronger and easier to maintain. It is also readily available in different colors.
